Phew~
ok~ Let get it started!!
Basically 1st Sem started.
Finally get to taste what is ESP (Engineering Science Programme) about!
It’s super tough but I’m happy because that’s exactly what I want!!
The modules focuses on underlying Concepts rather than the working parts!
But still it is super CHIM!
I’m not the only one who says that it is tough!
In fact, the whole class is in the same situation!
But all of us are enthutiastic, none are going to give up any sooner!
That’s the spirit!
Everyone is working hard and trying to help each other!
I foresee a great future ahead!
"The First batch of Engineering Scientists Emerge!" - Straits Time
okok….
Lectures and Tutorials are spread over the week.
Everything should end at 4pm the latest, some days 3pm.
Let’s talk about CCA. I’ve joined quite a lot.
Beside these CCAs, I’m under FCBC Cell Group under Thomas Khoo (FCBC Worship Leader and TaiKo) and actively involved in MSL as well (Merdeka Night’s coming!)
Initially there are other CCAs that I would like to join, but I guess I will leave them for next year or future opportunities.
Of course, you all should not worry, I’ve found a HOME in Singapore - and that is FCBC under Pastor Lawrence Kong.
Everyweek, there are buses from NUS to EXPO for the Youth Service (which is about 1000++ youths in the service)
As I’ve mentioned earlier, I’m in Thomas’ Cell Group.
I feel comfortable in FCBC and I shall stay put by God’s Will!!
That’s all for the time being…
It’s getting late and tomorrow there’re lectures in the morning.
Better get some rest if not I might be mistaken as a Dracula!! (Dracula have bloody red eyes!!)
Wow~ I’m in Singpore for more than a month already.
Today, I caught Conjunctivitis - Red-Eye Disease.
My accomodation Hall - Eusoff Hall has a major outbreak of this disease.
Almost all guys kena….
I’ve consult the doctor at the University Health and Wellness Centre, got special Eye drops and eye ointment.
But still from one eye, it spreads to the right eye already.
Hmmm…. Information online states that usually it takes more than 2 weeks to recover!!
What la~ two weeks, I’m already behind time in studies….!!
Heavenly Father, help me, strengthen me!
I know everything happens for the good of me in your Purpose!
Amen.
In short, Lectures started and the first lecture on "Mechanics and Waves" was super CHIM!
The lecturer is actually papa’s good christian friend in Monash.
Talking about God’s timing and plan eh~?
BTW, back to the lecture, Prof. lecture like we knows everything already.
So basically, these few days I need to make many choices as to which Welcome Tea to join.
All the CCA (Co-Curriculum Activities) are having their Welcome Tea this week.
Really sweat….
Like today I start my day at 8am but by the time I reach my room, it’s already past 9pm.
Aha~ another thing worth mentioning is the Drummer Audition by Guitar Club.
Too rusty I guess, can’t really play well and I don’t know any song-specific drum beats.
BECAUSE, I play my own style.. Haha~
The Auditioner did mention about my Tempo going faster after each fill-in.
(which I know, that’s why I want to get an electronic metronome!
Waiting for the opportunity!)
JOSHUA go go go!!!
Striving to use my "giving talents" to the fullest!!
On Saturday, I need to choose between Victory Bash and Planet Shakers Ultraviolet Party.
It’s a hard decision.
The Victory Bash is held at MoS, which is one of the happening Club.
Whereas PlanetShakers Party will be at FCBC.
I would like to try what is bashing all about.
Doing that, I might put myself in a dangerous position.
Clubs, anything can happen.
BUT, If I would to go Planet Shakers. It will be with my Cell Group.
Arghhh….. BTW, I’ve paid S$10 for the Victory Bash.
Maybe this was God’s plan in the beginning.!!
Pray Pray!!!
