Just reach my lovely room at A409.
Finish bathe and finally sit down after 4 hectic days of physical activities.~! (:

The camp was good~!
TICE stands for Tertiary Institution Council for the Environment.
Before this camp, I have a slightly negative view towards environmental passionate people.
After the first series of talk, I was totally dumb-founded.
I have the ’so this is Environmental people and the real issue"

Friday and Saturday we have a really great opportunity to participate in the Amazing Green Race.
Thursday we started off on NTU campus and spend the whole morning running around the campus. RUNNING, literally….
After lunch we went to Botanical Gardens, and the journey from NTU to the Garden itself took us more than one hour. ^^ (by bus lar)
After the Garden tour, I took a detour and went to TCT instead.

I am officially the Cluster Drummer for the night ^^
Finally I get to serve in the P&W ministry.
I am utmost happy to be able to play something totally new to me, "English Worship Songs Genre" if I may put it that way. Majorities are "Hillsongs" and "Planet Shakers"
Oh well, my first time I guess I was too tired after a day of work out around NTU and Botanical Garden, I didn’t fare that well.
Only one song I did perfectly well, which is "Making a Difference".
That song has a Chinese translation and it was a HIT song in SPC once upon a time.

Oh ya, I learn quite a bit about FCBC style P&W too.
They are very used to the LOUD banging of the drums.
For me, I was always restricted in SPC, that’s why my subconscious mind always feel bad when I play slightly louder than a certain level I deem acceptable.
But strangely, the worship leader here kept asking me to play louder.
I seriously should work out more on my Kick Drums more, I can’t even hear myself.~ HAHA~~

Too many years playing with Andrew Chan, my drum skills became stagnant and can’t improve much.
I am truly happy to be able to join the Cluster’s P&W team.
One day, I’ll be playing in EXPO in front of the whole YOUTHNET.
But after one year of being on the multitudes side during worship time makes me quite used to the flexibility of being able to move my limbs and body to woship GOD.
That day, maybe it was my first day, I can’t concentrate on worshipping while playing the drums. Maybe it was just like what Thomas said, my skills are not up to the competence level which I could CLOSE my eyes during my drumming, just like what I used to be able to do in SPC.
A totally different level~!!
WAH~~ very the interesting ar~!!

okok… back to ECO-CAMP.
Saturday we went to ZOO.
I was half dead but still we manage to answer all the questions and scored 26.8/30, not bad lar~!
We took a lot of photos because we are suppose to come out with a scrap book with 20 selected photos (sponsored by CANON).
Oh ya, worth mentioning, our group, ANIMA got the BEST scrap book award.
On the way back to Eusoff just now I finally got a revelation that the fact we got the best scrap book because our story line is good.
Our photos and decorations plus designs with poems (Done by Tina, Fiona, ShiYong, ZiHao, KaMan) tells a story of ANIMA and the Eco-Camp.
It’s about how 7 strangers got to know each other through the ECO-camp and how in the end our friendship bond is so close that even now I miss them… hahaha
This is the first time (maybe second time) I miss someone from the numerous camps that I’ve attended.

Sunday? hectic, basically after the movie screening on monohike somethingsomething I didn’t sleep because I have to rush for the GREEN TECHNOLOGY powerpoint presentation.
haha… basically it’s a Nick and Joshua project (Fiona helped and Victor supplied the laptop).
Somehow I just like Multimedia a lot, when I’m doing multimedia stuff, be it PowerPoint or Video Editing or related stuff… I just won’t feel tired and keep doing and doing and doing..
It looks impressive, only the introduction part…
I finally realized that I must really design a proper storyboard, one that ensures attention-getters are always available, so that the audience will not fall asleep.
Another thing I realized is that it’s impossible to finish a elegant and professional looking PPT in just 2 days (according to my deem standard and capability)
I just can’t stop working on it, perfecting it… what a perfectionist you are joshuatj ^^

Oh well… during the presentation, due to my half zombie presence, I was not able to draw the attention of majority zombies in the house.
It’s a failure presentation according to joshuatj’s standard, but it’s a great learning experience though.
I thought to go straight to EXPO for YOUTHNET Celebration service straight after my presentation.
But when I was about to finish lunch, I notice that the time was already 12:30pm. Not possible to reach EXPO on time since EXPO and NTU is like the two ends of Singapore.
So I’ve decided to follow Sopphia to NCC for th 5pm service instead.

My style was always bring everything just in case there are emergencies or change of plans. That’s why I brought all my luggages along to the presentation venue, a long walk from Hall 4, our camp accommodation.
But after everything, I have to walk back to Hall 4 because Sopphia and Sharon didn’t brought their luggage along.

Nevertheless, we manage to reach THE ROCK at Suntec just on time for the sermon. We even got bonus, that is testimony by pastor Lian.

Towards the end of Pastor Prince’s sermon my handphone gave me an alert that says later at 7pm there’s a GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER event in Singapore Stadium.

After some battle in my mind, I’ve decided to go after dinner with Sopphia and her cell group.
I took a cab and alighted at Signapore Indoor Stadium.
Everything looks so quiet and I have a funny feeling that I am in the wrong place, sure enough it is held at Singapore Stadium not Indoor Stadium.
Fortunately it’s just next door….

Sadly, my phone ran out of battery just before i reach the stadium.
Haha…. thus began my journey of searching Thomas and Allen in the Stadium crowd.
Nope, can’t find them, so i stayed on until the event end and took bus 10 back to Eusoff.
Oh ya, my toilet rolls were brought back by Sopphia and my big luggage was given to ShingLam and he’ll bring it to me when he comes to campus.

wah… too long liao lar…
I also feel a bit restless just writing this blog account.
The MSN keep popping up~~
next time ba…

Yo~ joshuatj is back in action.
Had a fulfilling two weeks back in Malaysia,
especially the second week in KL.

I’m now living in a double room with 2 other guys.
It’s going to be exciting.
So big first time share room with other people,
I hope i will not cause too much problem to them. ;p

Just set up my desktop computer and the first thing is
to update my blog.
I will slowly update everything that happen back in Ipoh.
Still remember I want to update after I came back from Ipoh
after Chinese New Year.
In the end, school work and CCA caught up with me and nothing has been done.
It’ll never happen again this time cuz
it’s HOLIDAY time~!!

okok… it’s 4am, i better not continue lest i disturb my room mates :p

Second time I say this I suppose.
I still have at least 6 times more to repeat the words.

Just want to note this down for future reference.

Module syllabus are not that hard if I have

  1. Full attention
  2. at least 4 hours span of time
  3. No distraction

when I study them.

Key points

  1. Make my own summary notes after lectures. CRUCIAL
    1. STPM is a great achievement
  2. exercise… how much more do i have to emphasise? Tutorials especially~!

It’s not too late…
I still have one more paper to go tomorrow.

I’ve finally realise the secret of studying.
Besides burning passion as motivation (interest in the art of learning),
one must have enough brain juice to process the information that studying is trying to input into the brain.

To ensure enough brain juice,
one need to have enough REST (REM sleep is very important)
and the RIGHT environment~!

without enough REST, (for me, my system was tweaked to 6 ~ 6.5hours due to STPM) even an easy topic couldn’t break pass the brain barrier,

But interestingly, with a half REST brain,
one is at the most creative state,
Mathematics and Analytic ability might drop but
creativity power is exponentially increased~
That came into conclusion through my personal experience,
anyone feels the same?

enough of recording my thoughts.
back to electronics~~~~
Diode is next~!
