Video, Documentary Music Video specifically,
if published at the correct time,
can really create a HYPE.
Boosting the awareness to mass audience.
For a simple event in a small group,
a properly made video,
with the intention of creating awareness in big groups of people,
can really change the tide of things are run.
People will feel excited,
anticipating for the real thing to happen.
Of course, if the event doesn’t interest you
or you would rather spend your time on something else you deem more important,
no matter how great the video is made,
it’ll never achieve the same effect.
But inevitable video really has the added capability to turn the tide,
pumping spirit into an otherwise low awareness event.
For a hostel community like Eusoff gives even more purpose in using video
as a tool to broadcast events to everyone else who’s not involved.
But to achieve the desired effect,
it must be a collaboration of the video production unit and the sports committee.
Side track a bit,
an ideal situation will be every hostelite is aware of what’s happening around them,
and if possible will give their utmost support to whatever that’s happening.
Be it sports men or women, dancers, actors, band gigs, choirs, RAG performance, etc.. these are opportunities created by the hostelites for the hostelites.
Hostel has the capability to provide the talent pool for these to happen.
Afterall, whoever that goes out bears the hostel’s name,
if possible,
everyone staying in the hostel should give their support.
The reasoning is simple,
it’s a WIN-WIN choice to make,
The support that you give justifies the return of support for whoever that you’re doing.
Do you agree?
